ARTICLE ON THE GLOBAL TIMES,21^ST JANUARY ISSUE,PAGES 1&2.

The first page of the global times issue , on the 21^st of January , contained two articles- one titled “2013 the year of… what?”. This article further contained three subparts. One stating that according to the Chinese calendar 2013 is the year of the snake. Another stating that scientists and scientific organizations all over the world have dedicated 2013 to mathematics of the planet earth (MPE).They also stated that the UN has identified a scarcity of water in the world. The second article on the first page was titled ”If you don’t have any self respect, you can’t respect anyone…”.This was an interview with brigadier Chintaranjan Savant ,the man who has mesmerized several people with his golden voice as the commentator at numerous Republic day events. He was also awarded the VSM award by the president of India.

The second page of the global times was titles World Mirror. It contained an article called “Celebrating Republic”. It talked about the history behind republic day and how republic day is celebrated in India. The “What makes India click?” section talks about the three B’s of India which are-Brains, Brawn and Blitz. This page also contained several pictures of groups of students working together as a team. There was also another short segment called news reel.it contained general news, the top three being –the Indo Pak flag meeting, The 65^th Army Day celebration, and that 82 lakh took a holy dip on the first day of the kumbh festival.
