SUMMER VACATIONS

I waited for the two months summer vacations from the starting of the session. I wanted to know how it was like to be free for such a long time and pursue my hobbies. I definitely made many plans to properly utilize these two months like studying, learning dance, driving, computer courses or just anything. When the holidays started I was enthusiastic and wanted to learn each of these and was perhaps confused where to start from. I definitely did enquire about several courses but my laziness just took over. I kept on postponing the plans for the next day and waited for just the correct day to come.

Vacations had a boring start. Had no work to do except sleeping, eating and watching movies, thought of starting into atleast one activity but just couldn’t make up my mind to do any of it. 45 days went like this only.

Finally I was excited to go to my grandparents house to spend a week. I was filled with energy to travel with my cousins all the way to Rishikesh. It was an overwhelming experience as always. The pampering and love just filled joy in my soul. Seeing their smile definitely made my day. After coming back from grandparents place and having all the fun part I thought of trying something new so I tried my hand at driving, it felt nice when I was able to even move an inch of it. I enjoyed every bit of it even if my dad forced me to wake up early. I also tried dancing and it was the most relieving part of the whole monotonous and boring day at home.  Met old school friends, went on drives, watched the rarest of the movies and experienced how it was to be in a box perhaps for such a long time not willing to actually do anything.

Atlast vacations came to an end and to my surprise I was extremely excited to be back.
